Pricing & Warranties

At Ingold Landscaping, we believe in transparent pricing and lasting craftsmanship. We deliver premium results without cutting corners, and we stand behind our work.

Hardscaping & Paver Installation

Premium Paver Installation: Starting at $30/sqft

Includes comprehensive base excavation, rigorous sub-base preparation, proper drainage integration, and high-end materials.

5-Year Craftsmanship Warranty

Because we go above and beyond standard base preparation and proper drainage integration, we have the confidence to warranty our hardscapes longer than the market average. We also secure our work using concrete or Perma Edge restraints. Unlike average plastic or metal edging that moves around over time, these superior options ensure your hardscape won’t shift during harsh Pennsylvania freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Covered: Significant settling (greater than 3/8 of an inch), edge restraint failure, and base shifting under normal conditions.
  • Not Covered: Natural weathering (fading, efflorescence), surface stains, chemical/equipment damage (harsh de-icing salts, snowplows), weed growth in joints, or extreme acts of nature.

Drainage Solutions (NDS Certified)

French Drains (1-Year Subsurface Warranty)

We warranty the installation and craftsmanship of subsurface French drains for 1 year from the date of completion.

  • What is Covered: Proper pipe installation, securing of fittings, correct trench sloping as designed, and premature material failure of the NDS piping, fabric, or emitters under normal use.
  • Not Covered: Volume overload caused by flash floods or newly discovered underground water sources (e.g., active springs) that exceed designed capacity. Blockages caused by heavy soil siltation, mudslides, or tree/shrub root intrusion. Crushed or severed pipes from heavy equipment, vehicles, or subsequent landscaping work driven over the trench lines.

Surface Catch Basins & Channel Drains (3-Year Warranty)

  • What is Covered: Integrity of the underground pipe connections and the initial leveling of the grates.
  • Not Covered: Any backup or surface flooding caused by leaves, mulch, grass clippings, or trash blocking the grates or pipes. Settling or flooding caused by the addition of new mulch beds, soil, or paving by the homeowner or other contractors that changes the surface runoff toward the drains.

Downspout Burials & Pop-Up Emitters (3-Year Warranty)

  • What is Covered: Subsurface pipe connections and structural integrity.
  • Not Covered: Clogs inside the buried lines or pop-up emitters caused by pine needles, shingle grit, or leaves washing down from unmaintained gutters. System backups or pipe fractures caused by ice damming or standing water freezing inside the pipes during Pennsylvania winters.

Dry Wells & NDS Flo-Wells (1-Year Warranty)

  • What is Covered: Workmanship, structural integrity of the well, and proper installation of surrounding drainage stone.
  • Not Covered: System overflow or failure to drain due to the surrounding soil reaching maximum saturation during extended rain events or spring thaws. Reduced capacity or failure caused by seasonal fluctuations in the underground water table. Diminished percolation over time due to natural clay or fine silt migrating into the surrounding drainage stone.

Grading and Swales (1-Year Warranty)

  • What is Covered: Significant, unnatural settling of the manipulated soil and earthwork.
  • Not Covered: Washouts or channel deterioration caused by severe storms, flash flooding, or lack of established turf/vegetation. Any alteration to the swale or surrounding grade by the property owner, utility companies, or other contractors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only take on large hardscaping and drainage projects?

No. While we specialize in premium patios and comprehensive drainage systems, we routinely handle smaller enhancements. From burying a single downspout or installing a short walkway to seasonal mulching and edging, we take on projects of all sizes.

Is there a minimum project size you require?

No. We work directly with your budget. Whether you need a massive backyard overhaul or just a small bed clean-up with fresh mulch, we deliver the same high-quality craftsmanship.

Do my pavers need to be sealed?

Sealing is optional but recommended. We install pavers with polymeric sand to lock the joints and deter weeds. Applying a high-quality sealer every 3 to 5 years helps protect the surface from stains and preserves the color.

Will heavy equipment ruin my lawn during installation?

Proper excavation requires heavy machinery, which will impact the grass in the access path and work area. We clearly outline any final grading and seeding repair required to restore your lawn in your initial proposal.

When is the best time of year to install drainage or hardscaping?

We operate for most of the year, provided the ground isn’t deeply frozen. Spring and fall are critical times for installing drainage to handle seasonal runoff, while hardscaping can be scheduled whenever weather permits.

How do I know if I need a French drain or a surface catch basin?

Surface drains manage pooling water on top of the soil, like heavy runoff from downspouts. French drains manage subsurface water, like a consistently soggy yard or groundwater seeping toward your foundation. We assess your property to engineer the exact solution you need.

Who handles Municipal Permits and HOA Approvals?

While we are happy to advise which local municipal permits may be required, the Client is ultimately responsible for applying for, paying for, and physically securing these permits prior to the start date. The Client is also solely responsible for reviewing their specific HOA bylaws, submitting the project design for approval, and obtaining all necessary neighborhood clearances before work begins.
